Roland F. Moots, Jr.

Roland F. Moots, Jr. has maintained a legal practice since 1969, representing clients in family law, criminal law, and personal injury matters throughout Connecticut and beyond.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Moots has represented defendants in significant criminal cases across northwestern Connecticut. He has also secured substantial settlements and verdicts in personal injury cases on behalf of injured clients and their families.

Mr. Moots’ litigation experience spans Connecticut state and federal courts, as well as matters in New York, Texas, Louisiana, and North Carolina. He has argued appellate cases before both the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.

A long-time New Milford resident, Mr. Moots has also served the community as Town Counsel for over five years and previously worked as a public defender in Connecticut Circuit Court.
